Jennifer Aniston<\/a> and Dolly Parton<\/a> are famous for being two of the most wonderful women in Hollywood, which is perhaps why ABC<\/a> chose the former to interview the latter for a Thursday segment<\/a> on\u00a0Good Morning America.\u00a0The network was guaranteed delightfully fluffy content, and it was bound to get it given that Parton has been absolutely\u00a0killing it<\/a> on the talk-show circuit lately.<\/p>\n During the segment, Parton and Aniston shot the breeze about the country icon\u2019s songwriting process, whether or not Aniston is a competent driver (\u201cMatthew Perry once said that you were the worst driver in the history of drivers,\u201d Parton teased) and\u00a0Dolly\u2019s legions of queer fans.<\/p>\n \u201cIs it true that you once said that it\u2019s a good thing you were born a girl?\u201d Aniston asked. \u201cOtherwise, you would have been a drag queen?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYes, it is true,\u201d Parton replied. \u201cBecause I\u2019m so over-exaggerated and I have so many fans that\u2026you know, the gay community and the drag queens\u2026 I\u2019ve always had these drag queens dress like me. And I even lost a Dolly Parton lookalike contest.\u201d<\/p>\n In her new Netflix<\/a> original film, Dumplin\u2019,\u00a0the former Friends<\/a> phenomenon stars as Lucy, an uptight pageant mom whose daughter, Willowdean (Danielle MacDonald), finds her inner diva and gets the courage to come out of her shell through the music of the venerable Parton. The \u201cJolene<\/a>\u201d singer executive-produced and wrote six original songs for the movie, which premieres on the streaming platform Friday.<\/p>\n Parton, who also told Aniston that she always keeps a notepad by her bed in case the inspiration for a song strikes while she\u2019s dreaming, recently went on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/a> to promote Dumplin\u2019\u00a0on her own. There, she told Fallon<\/a> that her husband had a huge crush on Aniston.\u00a0\u201cMy husband is crazy about her,\u201d Parton said. \u201cI think he kind of fantasizes, like, a threesome with us.\u201d Giggling, she continued, \u201cI think he can\u2019t even get it out to pee, much less get it up for three.\u201d<\/p>\n Although celebrity-on-celebrity interviews can be excruciatingly devoid of thoughtful questions, you can always count on Dolly to provide a ridiculous sound bite, no matter what the circumstances. She and Aniston certainly had more chemistry than Harry Styles<\/a> and Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet, who recently complimented one another<\/a> for a couple of thousand words in i-D magazine.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Dolly Parton performing live onstage at the UK Country Music Festival.
