{"id":330210,"date":"2026-08-26T15:04:48","date_gmt":"2026-08-26T15:04:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/330210\/"},"modified":"2026-08-26T15:04:48","modified_gmt":"2026-08-26T15:04:48","slug":"snoopy-in-style-nyc-brings-high-fashion-to-manhattan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/330210\/","title":{"rendered":"Snoopy in Style NYC Brings High Fashion to Manhattan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Opening just ahead of NYFW, \u2018Snoopy in Style NYC\u2019 brings together designer collaborations, rare fashion archives and 75 years of Peanuts culture<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Snoopy is having quite the fashion moment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fresh off the beloved Peanuts character\u2019s birthday, Snoopy is heading to New York City, and he\u2019s bringing some of fashion\u2019s biggest names with him. <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.peanuts.com\/snoopy-in-style-nyc\">Snoopy in Style NYC <\/a>opens to the public Sept. 2 in Manhattan\u2019s Meatpacking District, transforming a massive 16,000-square-foot space into a celebration of Snoopy\u2019s decades-long influence on fashion, music, sports and pop culture.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"low\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/SBIF_HERMES.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-313711\"  \/>Credit: DADA Goldberg (Snoopy Hermes)<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The exhibition, which previously had a run in Paris, will feature 10 immersive zones with installations curated by The Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center. But the New York edition is getting its own makeover, with designers and brands including Coach, BODE, Christopher John Rogers, Collina Strada, Kith, Levi\u2019s, LUAR, Sandy Liang and GAPStudio by Zac Posen creating custom looks for Snoopy and Woodstock.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And Snoopy\u2019s relationship with high fashion is hardly new.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tradition dates back to when Peanuts creator Charles \u201cSparky\u201d Schulz was still alive. A 1990 exhibition at the Louvre in Paris featured Snoopy designs from some of the most recognizable fashion houses in the world, including Chanel, Herm\u00e8s, Dior, Armani and Givenchy. The NYC exhibition will bring pieces from that history together with the newly commissioned 2026 designs and rare archival items.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The timing is also fitting: The exhibition opens just as New York Fashion Week approaches and while the US Open is underway.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fashion is only part of Snoopy\u2019s story: one installation will explore Schulz\u2019s connection to tennis, including his friendship with Billie Jean King and advocacy for Title IX and the Women\u2019s Sports Foundation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center is-style-altfont has-secondary-color has-text-color has-link-color has-xs-font-size wp-elements-2 has-lg-margin-top wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"letter-spacing:1px;text-transform:uppercase\">Scroll to continue reading<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Music gets its own spotlight, too. Joe Cool\u2019s Listening Lounge will celebrate the unmistakable sound of Peanuts and composer Vince Guaraldi with a DJ booth, rare albums, archival material and music-inspired merchandise.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Snoopy in Style NYC will run Sept. 2 through Sept. 26 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 25 Little West 12th Street in Manhattan\u2019s Meatpacking District.
