The kiosk at Bogardus Plaza is taking a summer hiatus \u2014 I checked with the Friends and they will be back in September. I am still baffled by the city allowing a halal truck<\/a> to compete with them on city property\u2026<\/p>\n

GIANT KALEIDOSCOPE IN BATTERY PARK CITY
Battery Park City Authority has installed a giant kaleidoscope near the bike path at Little West Street and 2nd Place. The spinning elements of the kaleidoscope include birds, insects and marine life to represent migration across the US. It features turning plexiglass wheels on the ends that participants can turn to change the visuals inside. Up until September 21.<\/p>\n
