A New York-based coffee company plans to open its first location in New Jersey with the recent purchase of a property in Monmouth County. <\/p>\n
Unique Coffee Roasters<\/a>, based in Staten Island, has purchased a 9,712-square-foot building at 719-721 Route 35 in Middletown.<\/p>\n The property features ground-level access and large windows that \u201cfill the interior with natural light,\u201d the company says.<\/p>\n The $1.6 million deal was brokered by Sheldon Gross Realty Executive Vice President Jonathan Glick and Corporate Sales Representative Joshua Glussky, while Legacy Commercial Realty served as the listing agent. <\/p>\n \u201cFrom the steady flow of motorists along Route 35 to its hard-to-miss highway frontage, this is an exceptional location,\u201d said Glussky. \u201cI can\u2019t imagine a property checking off more boxes.\u201d<\/p>\n According to Joseph Ferrara, president of Unique Coffee Roasters, the space will be used as a roastery and warehouse where coffee will be sold by the bag. <\/p>\n There are also plans to include a tasting room, allowing customers to learn about the company\u2019s coffee-making process and sample the products. <\/p>\n The business was started \u201cin a one-car garage with a simple goal in mind: Deliver to New Yorkers a different cup of coffee, something Unique,\u201d according to the Unique Coffee Roaster website.<\/p>\n \u201cOur core values are taste, quality, and consistency.
