Cops say the pair had no prior interaction and that it appeared to bea random assault.<\/p>\n<p>After shoving the woman onto the tracks, cops said, the perpetrator \u2014 who wore a gray shirt and blue jeans \u2014 fled out of the station and onto 183rd Street, heading northbound.\n<\/p>\n<p>Officers from Transit District 12 responded to the incident. Firefighters were able to help the victim back onto the platform.\n<\/p>\n<p>Police said the victim suffered minor injuries to her knee and was rushed to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where she is listed in stable condition.\n<\/p>\n<p>So far, no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.\n<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts can call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (for Spanish, dial 888-57-PISTA).
