Officers responded and located the suspect at his residence, where he was taken into custody.<\/p>\n<p>Evidence of the assault was reportedly found at the scene of the assault, and a handgun was recovered at the suspect&#8217;s residence following the execution of a search warrant.<\/p>\n<p>The incident resulted in an extended police presence in the area.
