Attention, passengers:\u00a0you may now enjoy the musical stylings of Bobby Darin Jeremy Jordan<\/a>! The Broadway favorite, currently starring as crooner Bobby Darin in\u00a0Just in Time<\/a> at Broadway’s Circle in the Square, hit Terminal C at Newark Airport for a recent pop-up performance, a collaboration between\u00a0United Airlines,\u00a0Just in Time on Broadway, and Broadway Cares.<\/p>\n

The special performance,\u00a0also featuring pianist\u00a0Cullen Curth,\u00a0was a fundraiser for Broadway Cares. After getting fliers’ attention with Jordan’s renditions of Darin standards\u00a0“Beyond the Sea” and “Dream Lover,” the iconic Red Buckets came out to collect donations.<\/p>\n

The biomusical currently stars Jordan (The Great Gatsby<\/a>) as Darin and Olivia Holt<\/a> (Kickin’ It) as Connie Francis, and also features\u00a0Carrie St. Louis<\/a> (Wicked), Tony Award winner Debbie Gravitte<\/a> (Jerome Robbins’ Broadway<\/a>), Joe Barbara<\/a> (A Bronx Tale The Musical<\/a>), Drama Desk Award nominee Emily Bergl<\/a> (Good Night, Oscar<\/a>), Lance Roberts<\/a> (The Music Man<\/a>), Caesar Samayoa<\/a> (Come From Away<\/a>), Christine Cornish<\/a> (Kiss Me, Kate<\/a>), Julia Grondin<\/a> (Funny Girl<\/a>), Valeria Yamin<\/a> (Moulin Rouge!), Jaime Foord<\/a> (Broadway debut), Tari Kelly<\/a> (Mr. Saturday Night<\/a>), Matt Magnusson<\/a> (A Wonderful World), Jeffrey Schecter<\/a> (A Chorus Line), and Tristen Buettel<\/a> (Boop! The Musical).\u00a0Ariana Madix<\/a> will succeed Holt as Connie Francis beginning September 12, and\u00a0Whitney Leavitt will join the company as Sandra Dee beginning December 1.<\/p>\n

The musical, developed by Timbers and based on an original concept by Ted Chapin<\/a>, features a book by Tony winner Warren Leight<\/a> and Isaac Oliver<\/a> (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel). Shannon Lewis<\/a> choreographs with music supervision and arrangements by Andrew Resnick<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The production also features scenic design by two-time Tony winner Derek McLane<\/a> (Death Becomes Her<\/a>), costume design by eight-time Tony winner Catherine Zuber<\/a> (Moulin Rouge!), lighting design by Tony winner Justin Townsend<\/a> (Here Lies Love<\/a>), and sound design by Tony winner Peter Hylenski<\/a> (Maybe Happy Ending<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Scott Rowen<\/a> is the production stage manager, and Live Wire Theatrical is the general manager. Tom Kirdahy<\/a>, Robert Ahrens<\/a>, John Frost<\/a>, and original star Jonathan\u00a0Groff are producing.<\/p>\n
