Authorities are searching for a man who allegedly opened fire Saturday on Border Patrol agents in Chicago.<\/p>\n
The shooter was\u00a0behind the wheel of\u00a0a\u00a0black\u00a0Jeep when\u00a0they fired off the shots\u00a0near 26th Street and Kedzie Avenue, as the agents conducted immigration enforcement operations\u00a0on the city\u2019s Southwest side,\u00a0the US Department of Homeland Security\u00a0wrote on X.<\/a><\/p>\n DHS says the shooter was driving a jeep. WFLD<\/p>\n The shots were fired right around 26th Street and Kedzie Avenue. WFLD<\/p>\n The shooting occurred during a raid conducted by Border Patrol agents. Reuters<\/p>\n Agitators also hurled a paint can and bricks at the agency\u2019s vehicles\u00a0during the incident.\u00a0<\/p>\n Chicago cops cleared the scene, and the shooter remains at large.<\/p>\n Agitators near the area threw bricks at the officer\u2019s vehicles.
