Rosanna Scotto struggled to hold back tears while remembering her late mother, Marion Scotto.<\/p>\n
The longtime \u201cGood Day New York\u201d co-host became emotional during Tuesday\u2019s broadcast of the Fox 5 morning show, marking her first day back at work since her mother\u2019s death last month at age 90<\/a>.<\/p>\n Scotto, 68, choked up after hearing B.J. Thomas\u2019 \u201cRaindrops Keep Fallin\u2019 on My Head\u201d during the broadcast, saying, \u201cSorry, sorry, this song reminds me of my parents,\u201d according to People<\/a>.<\/p>\n Rosanna Scotto fought back tears as she remembered her late mother, Marion Scotto, during Tuesday\u2019s broadcast of \u201cGood Day New York.\u201d Good Day New York<\/p>\n Marion (pictured above) died last month at age 90. Rosanna scotto\/ facebook<\/p>\n Through tears, Scotto thanked viewers for the outpouring of comments she\u2019d received in the week since her mother\u2019s death.<\/p>\n \u201cMy mother would kill me right now if she saw me crying on the air, so we\u2019re going to get it together,\u201d she said. \u201cI just want to say thank you to everybody who has been so kind and supportive [after] my mom\u2019s passing. Anyway, like I said, Mom, I\u2019m sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n Scotto\u2019s co-anchor, Dan Bowens, chimed in with a message of support: \u201cRosanna, you have our deepest condolences from all of us here at Fox 5 and all of our viewers.\u201d<\/p>\n Rosanna became emotional as she thanked viewers for the support she\u2019s received since her mother\u2019s death.
