Thursday morning will also be a First Alert Weather Day due to scattered showers and storms that could bring flooding.<\/p>\n<p>A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Staten Island until 7:15 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>A\u00a0Severe Thunderstorm Warning\u00a0has also been issued for Union County, along with parts of Essex, Morris, Somerset, Monmouth and Middlesex counties in New Jersey until 7:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Expect rainfall around the Tri-State Area throughout the day. The greatest risk of severe weather and localized flooding will be in the afternoon and evening hours. Showers and thunderstorms continue to rotate around high pressure, following a track from the Great Lakes southeastward into our area.
