Travis Kelce shared a special thank you to Adam Sandler for officiating his and Taylor Swift\u2019s July 3 wedding<\/a> at Madison Square Garden in New York City.<\/p>\n

During the Season 5 premiere of the \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast<\/a>, the Chiefs\u2019 tight end pulled back the curtain on the actor\u2019s role in \u201cthe biggest night in both of our lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t say thank you to everyone without giving a special thank you to the Adam Sandler. He\u2019s been just the best f\u2013king person on this planet,\u201d said Kelce, who made a cameo in Sandler\u2019s \u201cHappy Gilmore 2.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFor him to be up to getting ordained in the state of New York to marry me and Taylor. And the way he did it, in the very Sand man style and giving us more than we could have ever imaged in that moment knowing it was the biggest night of both of our lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kelce also thanked MSG for pulling out all the stops for the three-time Super Bowl champ and Swift, a 14-time Grammy winner, to have an ultra-private wedding.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe night was insane. It\u2019s a night I will never forget,\u201d he said. \u201cMe and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up from the vows to just seeing everyone to how much fun we had throughout the entire evening and hearing that kind of be relayed through everyone\u2019s stories from the night. It was just so magical man, and I wish it could have lasted longer than it did. It felt like it happened in the blink of an eye.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you to everyone at MSG that allowed us to do this. We wanted to do it somewhere where we could have a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions. We needed it to be a private feel and MSG went above and beyond to give us that and I can\u2019t thank everybody enough that showed up but also helped put the show on. It was a very magical night.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jason, the retired Eagles center who was his brother\u2019s best man, explained the one thing he particularly loved about their wedding.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe ceremony was beautiful. Adam killed it. Both you and Tay were incredible in your vows,\u201d Jason said. \u201cThe thing I really liked about this wedding in particular and the way you structured it \u2014 after all that was done, there wasn\u2019t the sit down formal stuff, there wasn\u2019t a bunch of the speeches.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was just time to have party and have fun. This is what made it so fun for me to be there. You\u2019re seeing all of these A-list celebrities. I saw Brad Pitt hugging Conan O\u2019Brien.
