Celebrate with us\u00a0IN-PERSON\u00a0at a\u00a0free\u00a0family-friendly, art-focused Climate Week cookout and\u00a0ONLINE by donating to our work. Our 2026 theme is \u201cMaking it Happen: Manifesting A Field Station for Flushing Bay,\u201d where we will come together to imagine radical, inclusive, and equitable futures for the Flushing Bay waterfront and celebrate a floating field station coming to the Bay in 2027!<\/p>\n<p>The in-person event starts with a scavenger hunt and walking tour from Flushing Meadows Corona Park (FMCP) to the cookout site at the\u00a0<a class=\"event-cta\" href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/vvTsCf5oQvTa1EfT9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">FMCP Public Kayak\/Canoe Launch<\/a>. The scavenger hunt and walking tour runs from 11am-1pm and the cookout runs from 1pm-3pm.<\/p>\n<p>At the cookout, we\u2019ll have live music, food, and art workshops. All activities and food are FREE with registration.<\/p>\n<p>The event is being hosted on parkland which means all Parks Department rules apply to this event, including the prohibition of alcohol or smoking on site.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"SaturBAY is GoFB\u2019s annual end-of-season celebration and online fundraiser!
