No charges after 2-year-old Le’zus Paige-Brooks drowned at foster parents’ pool in Brooklyn Park<\/p>\n

BROOKLYN PARK, Md. \u2014<\/p>\n

There will be no charges after a 2-year-old boy drowned in June while in the care of foster parents, WBAL-TV 11 News Investigates confirmed on Friday.<\/p>\n

Le’zus Paige-Brooks drowned<\/a> in Brooklyn Park, and a Maryland Department of Human Services report<\/a> found that it was a case of neglect.<\/p>\n

The report showed that both caregivers in the home thought the other was watching Le’zus, when, in fact, neither was and the boy fell in the pool and drowned.<\/p>\n
