As a result, he collided with the rear of a 2008 Honda Accord, driving by the 42-year-old man with a 36-year-old woman riding as a passenger.

The impact caused the Toyota Camry to overturn on the parkway, and violently threw the 19-year-old and 16-year-old male passengers onto the pavement.

Officers from the 109th Precinct and NYPD Highway Patrol, along with EMS units, rushed to the scene. The 19-year-old male passenger, who suffered severe body trauma, was rushed by EMS to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital in critical condition.

The 16-year-old passenger was also taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital for treatment of minor injuries and is also in stable condition.

Police said the 19-year-old Camry driver along with the 18-year-old male passenger, and the 42-year-old Honda Accord driver, were all transported to Jacobi Hospital in the Bronx, and listed in stable condition. The 36-year-old female passenger in the Honda Accord refused medical attention at the scene.

So far, no arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation, police said.

A 19-year-old man clings to life at a Queens hospital on Sunday after being critically injured in a…

[37
10392,2153,127451,127452,91239,16458,9,24,114853,63,103,127453,122,124,123,127454,91237,34527,29578,47723
post-339361","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-queens","tag-109th-precinct","tag-car-accident","tag-critically-injured","tag-cross-island-parkway","tag-honda-accord","tag-jacobi-hospital","tag-new-york","tag-new-york-city","tag-newyork-presbyterian-queens","tag-nyc","tag-nypd","tag-nypd-highway-patrol","tag-queens","tag-queens-headlines","tag-queens-news","tag-teen-injured","tag-toyota-camry","tag-traffic-crash","tag-traffic-safety","tag-whitestone
["GET
