Will the New York Giants<\/a> exceed their over\/under win total for next season?<\/p>\n

A panel of CBS Sports analysts issued a lean prediction that the Giants will finish over 7.5 wins<\/a> in 2026, based on DraftKings Sportsbook\u2019s over\/under for the season.<\/p>\n

Lean: Over 7.5 (-110).\u00a0New York is a possible breakout team in 2026 with\u00a0Jaxson Dart\u00a0entering Year 2 and John Harbaugh now installed as head coach. Dart flashed his potential as a rookie (albeit with some reckless play as a runner), and if that can be honed in a bit under Harbaugh, there’s a lot to like about the Giants.\u00a0Malik Nabers\u00a0is back as a true No. 1 weapon in the offense, and the defense boasts a slew of stud pass rushers, including\u00a0Brian Burns. Their division isn’t for the faint of heart, but they have the talent to put together eight wins.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Giants do not have many favorable matchups. The Arizona Cardinals<\/a>, New Orleans Saints<\/a> and Cleveland Browns are the only three teams New York can confidently be expected to beat. The Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts<\/a> and Washington Commanders<\/a> have enough talent to have strong seasons, but they also have the potential to struggle. Those seven games will go a long way toward shaping New York\u2019s record.<\/p>\n

The Giants also have a realistic chance to take one of two meetings from both the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> if Harbaugh\u2019s group plays well.<\/p>\n

That profile points to a team that wins somewhere between seven and 10 games. Eight or more would not be a surprise, which makes this one of the more difficult over\/unders to pick with real confidence.<\/p>\n
