A teenage boy was blasted in the leg by a gunman dressed in head-to-toe black near a Queens park Sunday evening, cops said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The 14-year-old was shot in the leg near the corner of 153rd Street and Jamaica Avenue, steps away from a children\u2019s playground in Rufus King Park, shortly before 5 p.m., according to the NYPD.<\/p>\n

The shooter, who was wearing an all-black outfit, then disappeared into the wind on foot, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
EMS responded and rushed the wounded teen to Jamaica Hospital, where he\u2019s listed in stable condition.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Neighbor Abdulahead Erragi said he was sitting at his home across from the park when the gunshots rang out.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t come outside, I was still in my home. I was scared myself because of what happened,\u201d Erragi said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He eventually peeked his head out to see a group of teens leaving the Jamaica park after the shooting.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThere were so many kids, together like a team, like a mafia \u2026 There was a lot of drugs and a lot of smoking,\u201d Erragi said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThere was a big bang, or a couple of bangs and then birds flying. I didn\u2019t really know what was going on, but I thought there was danger,\u201d said Amber Logan, who was in the park at the time of the shooting.\u00a0 Peter Gerber<\/p>\n
Amber Logan was sitting on a bench inside the green space when she heard the sound of gunfire. <\/p>\n

She said the shooting is giving her second thoughts about spending time at the park, which features a children\u2019s playground and spray showers, a soccer field, a handball court and the\u00a0historic King Manor Museum.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m going to find a safer place to hang out if this is gonna be where people are gonna want to do violence,\u201d Logan said.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s unclear what sparked the shooting or if the teen was the intended target. <\/p>\n
