More here<\/a>. <\/p>\n Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 10 a.m.: The City Planning Commission will hold a special session to review the following land use applications: 1455 Coney Island Avenue Rezoning<\/a> and 100-12 Queens Boulevard Rezoning<\/a>. More here<\/a>. <\/p>\n Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 10 a.m.: The NYC Council\u2019s Committee on Housing and Buildings will hold an oversight hearing on Mayor Zohran Mamdani\u2019s \u201cBlock by Block\u201d housing plan, where lawmakers will discuss several housing-related bills, including the Community Opportunity to Purchase Act, or COPA, which would give pre-qualified nonprofits an early shot at bidding on certain distressed apartment buildings<\/a>. More here<\/a>. <\/p>\n Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 10 a.m.: The Department of Buildings will hold a hearing on proposed rules for the Expedited Land Use Review Procedure and Affordable Housing Appeals Board, a new entity approved by voters via ballot <\/a>measures last year. More here<\/a>. <\/p>\n Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 11 a.m.: The NYC Council\u2019s Subcommittee on Zoning and Franchises will meet regarding the following land use applications: 815 Hutchinson River Parkway<\/a>, 862-868 Kent Avenue<\/a>, 158-06 Northern Boulevard<\/a>, 132 Melrose Street Rezoning<\/a>, 21-31 46th Ave Rezoning<\/a>, Fort Hamilton Mews Rezoning<\/a>, Park Avenue Brooklyn Rezoning<\/a>, Sojourner Truth \u2013 Mapes Rezoning<\/a>, 69-67 108th Street Rezoning<\/a> and 289 Kent Avenue Rezoning<\/a>. More here<\/a>. <\/p>\n Thursday, Sept. 10 at 9:30 a.m.: The NYC Council\u2019s Committee on Cultural Affairs, Libraries and International Relations will meet regarding a bill that would require the city to report and map historical African American burial sites. More here<\/a>. <\/p>\n Thursday, Sept. 10, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.: The Department of Housing Preservation and Development\u2019s outreach van will be in Councilmember Farrah Louis\u2019 district (1434 Flatbush Ave., Brooklyn) to provide assistance with housing issues. More here<\/a>. <\/p>\n Thursday, Sept. 10 at 6 p.m.: NYS Empire State Development Corporation will provide an update to Brooklyn Community Board 8 on the proposed Atlantic Yards Redevelopment Project Phase II, which will focus on the development of the railyard sites along Atlantic Avenue between 6th Avenue and Vanderbilt Avenue, and Site 5 (P.C. Richards and former Modell\u2019s).
