So, what\u2019s happening with the fair\u2019s annual butter sculpture?<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Noblehurst Farms\u00a0in\u00a0Livingston County broke down the sculpture on Tuesday to turn the 800 pounds of butter into fuel to power the farm and homes. The sculpture took 11 days to build, but the demolition took only 70 minutes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This marks the 11th straight year that the fair has recycled its butter sculpture for fuel, according to the American Dairy Association North East. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whec.com\/top-news\/butter-sculpture-unveiled-see-photos-of-the-america-250-sculpture-at-the-nys-fair\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.whec.com\/top-news\/butter-sculpture-unveiled-see-photos-of-the-america-250-sculpture-at-the-nys-fair\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">58th annual sculpture<\/a> paid tribute to the Empire State\u2019s influence on American traditions, in honor of America\u2019s 250th anniversary.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year\u2019s fair ran from Aug. 26 through Sept. 7.
