{"id":342021,"date":"2026-09-09T18:12:08","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T18:12:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/342021\/"},"modified":"2026-09-09T18:12:08","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T18:12:08","slug":"jalen-brunson-and-inde-navarrette-among-snl-hosts-for-new-season-nbc-new-york","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/342021\/","title":{"rendered":"Jalen Brunson and Inde Navarrette among \u2018SNL\u2019 hosts for new season \u2013 NBC New York"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Newly crowned NBA champion Jalen Brunson of the <a href=\"http:\/\/nbcnewyork.com\/tag\/new-york-knicks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">New York Knicks<\/a> will host <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnewyork.com\/tag\/saturday-night-live\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">\u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d<\/a> when the new season begins later this month, with future guests including Inde Navarrette, Gracie Abrams and Katseye.<\/p>\n<p>Brunson, who helped the Knicks become champions this summer for the first time in 53 years, makes his hosting debut Sept. 26 with pop girl group Katseye the musical guest.<\/p>\n<p>A week later \u2014 Oct. 3. \u2014 Dakota Johnson, promoting the film \u201cVerity,\u201d will host with Turnstile as the musical guest, making their \u201cSNL\u201d debut. On Oct. 10, comedian Shane Gillis hosts for the third time and Rosal\u00eda will take the stage for the second time as musical guest.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSNL\u201d takes a two-week break after that, returning on Halloween night with Navarrette making her hosting debut.
