Centeral New York’s water authority shared details Wednesday about upcoming projects in the area.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Onondaga County Water Authority (OCWA) officials said they’re building two parallel transmission lines: an Eastern Main Transmission Main<\/a> project between the OCWA facility and the Micron Campus on the Clay\/Cicero border and a Clear Water Transmission Main<\/a> project that will run between the OCWA facility and the treatment plant in Oswego.\u00a0<\/p>\n The first phase is survey work, which started Wednesday. It will take one year for the first project and two years for the second.\u00a0<\/p>\n Officials say it’s setting the area up for future growth.\u00a0<\/p>\n “Right now, it is a single line that is going across these two mains.
