That\u2019s a three-fold jump over the same period in 2018.<\/p>\n
The state criminal-justice \u201creforms\u201d (like cashless bail) passed in 2019 explain much of that spike.<\/p>\n
But it\u2019s surely worsened by judges like Wilkinson, who refuse to lock up dangerous thugs even when the law permits it \u2014 guaranteeing that the city sees the same violent thugs terrorizing law-abiding citizens over and over again.<\/p>\n
Bad enough to let shoplifters and other low-level offenders get off scot-free, but attempted murderers?<\/p>\n
What in Heaven\u2019s name is Robinson thinking?<\/p>\n
Lefties claim the system is \u201cracist\u201d if it remands \u201ctoo many\u201d black or Hispanic perps, but that ignores the simple fact that most crime victims are the same minorities.<\/p>\n
Even in New York\u2019s insanely pro-criminal political climate, Robinson\u2019s record should be intolerable.<\/p>\n
