{"id":342537,"date":"2026-09-10T04:30:26","date_gmt":"2026-09-10T04:30:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/342537\/"},"modified":"2026-09-10T04:30:26","modified_gmt":"2026-09-10T04:30:26","slug":"news-12-bronx-girl-scouts-introduce-2-new-cookies-including-1-for-dogs-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/342537\/","title":{"rendered":"News 12 | Bronx | Girl Scouts Introduce 2 New Cookies Including 1 For Dogs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Two new Girl Scout cookies are on the way for the upcoming 2027 season!<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The first-of-their-kind additions <a data-rich-text-hyperlink=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/www.girlscouts.org\/en\/footer\/press-room\/2026-press-announcements\/2027-new-cookies-patch-pals-sparkables.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">announced by Girls Scouts of the USA<\/a> Tuesday include an allergy-friendly recipe and another that isn\u2019t even meant for humans.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Patch Pals\u2122, developed with BARK, was unveiled as a cookie made just for dogs, inspired by the scouts\u2019 deep love for their four-legged family members.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">On top of that, Sparkables\u2122, was created with Partake\u00ae in an effort to make families navigating the most common food allergies feel more included in the organization\u2019s highly-anticipated cookie season.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The Patch Pals are a soft-baked, blueberry muffin-flavored dog treat, while Sparkables are a crunchy oatmeal cookie with chocolate chips and colorful sprinkles.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The newest options will be online exclusive, joining the classic Thin Mints, Samoas, and Tagalongs, to name a few.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Girl Scout Cookie season takes place nationally from January through April, with specific dates varying by your local region.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The program\u2019s mission is to help the scouts develop essential life skills, such as goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics, the nonprofit says.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Two new Girl Scout cookies are on the way for the upcoming 2027 season!
