In a vicious rant in June, the chair of New York\u2019s Young Republicans at the time, Peter Giunta, said everyone who didn\u2019t vote for him to become chair of the group\u2019s National Federation would be \u201cgoing to the gas chamber,\u201d according to the report.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m ready to watch people burn now,\u201d New York national committee member Annie Kaykaty allegedly wrote.<\/p>\n
In yet another ugly exchange, Giunta reportedly said, \u201cI love Hitler\u201d in response to a message from the chair of the Kansas Young Republicans.<\/p>\n
He also branded an opponent from Maryland a \u201cfat stinky Jew,\u201d and called Arkansas Young Republicans \u201cinbred cow f\u2013kers,\u201d the leaked chats show.<\/p>\n
Giunta also allegedly made several jokes about black people, including one in response to a question about whether he was watching an NBA playoff game.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019d go to the zoo if I wanted to watch monkey play ball,\u201d Giunta responded, while elsewhere he reportedly referred to African Americans as \u201cthe watermelon people.\u201d<\/p>\n
The leak exposed some 2,900 pages of chats among about a dozen Young Republican group leaders from early January to mid-August this year.<\/p>\n

At least one member of the group chat has since lost his job, while another had a job offer rescinded, Politico reported.<\/p>\n

Former Chair Hendrix was fired from his communications job in the office of Attorney General Kris Kobach, the AG\u2019s office announced.<\/p>\n
