Former NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio is back on the market after an alleged affair with an out-of-state elected official put the brakes on his 10-month relationship with progressive activist Nomiki Konst, two sources tell The Post.<\/p>\n
The couple went public with their courtship in February<\/a> with de Blasio, 64, saying at the time he and Konst, 41, were \u201ckindred souls\u201d who had known each other for a long time.<\/p>\n Former NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio and progressive activist Nomiki Konst were sharing lovey-dovey holiday snaps as recently as last month. Instagram\/@nomikikonst<\/p>\n But 10 months later and the erstwhile happy couple is no more, with sources saying the former \u201cThe Young Turks\u201d investigative reporter and Bernie Sanders campaign surrogate was left devastated after allegedly being two-timed by the former mayor.<\/p>\n \u201cThe way it all went down was even worse than what he f\u2013king did. She was really, really happy, and then, when it happened, I was like \u2018What!?’\u201d said one source whom Konst confided in.<\/p>\n \u201cShe was so empathic, even though she was the victim, but he just kept hurting her.\u00a0The problem was the public face aspect of it all. It was just horrible.\u201d<\/p>\n The pair was spotted together sporting NYC mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani shirts at a No Kings protest Oct. 18, smiling broadly with their arm around each other.<\/p>\n Sources said the breakup, which happened sometime between then and Election Day, came about after Blaz struck up an affair with an elected official from out of state, whose identity is not yet known.<\/p>\n The couple spent their first Valentine\u2019s Day canoodling, enjoying, and eating Greek food.\u00a0 Antonio Balasco\/LiveMedia\/Shutterstock<\/p>\n \u201cNomiki and I had a lovely relationship for 10 months, I have deep respect for her and what she stands for, and I hope we can have a real friendship in the future,\u201d de Blasio told The Post.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t have anything else to add.\u201d<\/p>\n De Blasio separated from his wife, Chirlane McCray, in 2023<\/a> but said they had no intention of divorcing.<\/p>\n They were seen together at an\u00a0A-list event in March<\/a>, despite the former mayor\u2019s active dating life.<\/p>\n Konst is heartbroken by the news of Blaz\u2019s affair, two sources she confided in told The Post. Instagram\/@nomikikonst<\/p>\n In September 2023, de Blasio was spotted indulging in a marathon make-out session<\/a> with a mystery woman at the Upper West Side\u2019s Empire Rooftop bar.<\/p>\n Three months later he was spied taking out another woman\u00a0who was still married<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 but he appeared to have dropped both for Konst.<\/p>\n De Blasio just signed a contributor deal with CNN last month, and has been out in the public eye at events in support of Mamdani.<\/p>\n
