A New York City school teacher who spewed vile 9\/11 and antisemitic conspiracy theories online while wearing a tinfoil hat faced punishment from the Department of Education on the 25th anniversary of the heinous attacks, The Post has learned.<\/p>\n

Among the unhinged claims by George Trim, a social studies teacher at IS 181 in Bath Beach, Brooklyn, was that World Trade center owner Larry Silverstein<\/a>\u00a0had prior knowledge of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.<\/p>\n

\u201cBefore you have a 9\/11, this guy just has the insight to get insurance against a terrorist attack on the Twin Towers. Okay, Larry Silverstein, you are you,\u201d ranted Trim, 43, on his YouTube channel, where he went by Cartoonking365.<\/p>\n

He also claimed to his 7,500 subscribers that the moon landing is a hoax and that Israel was behind the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.<\/p>\n

\u201cJack Ruby, not Mr. Rubenstein, we\u2019re never gonna ever call him that, they keep telling us he\u2019s part of the mafia, they didn\u2019t say which mafia \u2026 in Israel he\u2019ll be referred to as Jacob Rubenstein; in America he\u2019s Jack Ruby,\u201d Trim fumed in a June 15 diatribe.<\/p>\n

Trim was found to be in violation of the DOE\u2019s non-discrimination policies for his unhinged conspiratorial ravings<\/a><\/p>\n

The DOE said in a Sept. 10 letter that the office of Equal Opportunity would consult with IS 281 Principal Maira Bender on \u201cappropriate corrective action,\u201d but did not state what the punishment would be.<\/p>\n

\u201cMr. Trim violated Chancellor\u2019s Regulation A-830, which outlines the Department of Education\u2019s Non-Discrimination policy,\u201d the letter stated. <\/p>\n

New York City teacher and activist against antisemitism Moshe Spern lauded the DOE for taking action against the conspiracy-touting teacher. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe DOE substantiating that George Trim, who claimed Jews had prior knowledge of 9\/11, had actually violated their regulations is fitting for the 25th anniversary of the 9\/11 attacks,\u201d United Jewish Teachers President Moshe Spern told The Post. <\/p>\n
