A person of interest in the vicious killing of a Manhattan mom \u2013 who was beaten to death in front of her 7-year-old daughter \u2013 turned himself into police for questioning on Saturday, his attorney told The Post.<\/p>\n
Tiliek Shamel Thompson, 41, surrendered to police at the 33rd Precinct station house in the killing of Lovay Williams, 27, lawyer Neville Dexter said.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s at the precinct right now,\u201d Dexter said. <\/p>\n
Dexter explained that someone had been on social media implicating Thompson in the killing, but said, \u201cEverybody should reserve judgement. We don\u2019t know what happened.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dexter didn\u2019t reveal how his client would plead. Cops have identified Thompson as a \u201cperson of interest,\u201d a police source said.<\/p>\n
Police officers found Williams\u2019 body after being called to her home on 156th Street near Amsterdam Avenue in Washington Heights for a wellness check shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 6, police said.<\/p>\n

The victim\u2019s brother, Nuquan Williams, said whoever killed his sister doesn\u2019t deserve to be free.<\/p>\n
\u201cMan up to the things you did!\u201d said Williams, a state corrections officer. \u201cIt was horrific. You don\u2019t deserve to walk the streets and enjoy life when you took a life.\u201d<\/p>\n
He confirmed that his niece, De\u2019lani, was in the home when her mom\u2019s remains were found but said the girl was holding up well, so far.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve been buying her toys and things like that,\u201d the uncle said. \u201cI don\u2019t think she\u2019s emotionally intelligent enough to process what\u2019s actually going on yet, being that she\u2019s so young.\u201d<\/p>\n

His niece is a \u201cloving spirit\u201d who has been going to school, \u201cdoing what she has to do,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe\u2019s holding up strong,\u201d he said. \u201cShe hasn\u2019t freaked out or anything like that. She\u2019s such a sweet girl.\u201d<\/p>\n
He described his sister as \u201cone in a million.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cShe was the best mom, and no one could ever compare to her,\u201d he said. \u201cThis is such a big loss for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTurning himself in would be the best thing for me,\u201d the 33-year-old said. \u201cHonestly, I know we ain\u2019t gotta worry about him hurting nobody else and my niece can be at ease. Tomorrow will be a little better for me. I could sleep at night.\u201d<\/p>\n

She wasn\u2019t sure how the two met, she said, but they had been together \u201cfor a while.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s confusing to me because we knew this man for too long,\u201d Walker said. \u201cI don\u2019t even know what caused this. I can\u2019t remember (her) saying they even argued before.\u201d<\/p>\n
