(WABC\/CNN\/CNN Newsource)<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The woman was delivering a package of hair products to an apartment when she was attacked, according to Niesha Sosa.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect fled the scene following the attack. No arrests have been made.<\/p>\n<p>The incident has renewed concerns about the safety of delivery workers at New York City Housing Authority properties on Staten Island.<\/p>\n<p>About three weeks ago, officials announced $1 million in federal funding for security upgrades at the building. Planned improvements include installing security cameras in the lobby, outside the building and in elevators.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation remains ongoing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.
