{"id":345637,"date":"2026-09-13T15:50:28","date_gmt":"2026-09-13T15:50:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/345637\/"},"modified":"2026-09-13T15:50:28","modified_gmt":"2026-09-13T15:50:28","slug":"news-12-brooklyn-bronx-mother-says-police-never-showed-up-after-4-year-old-son-was-allegedly-punched-at-park-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/345637\/","title":{"rendered":"News 12 | Brooklyn | Bronx Mother Says Police Never Showed Up After 4 Year Old Son Was Allegedly Punched At Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">A Bronx mother says she was left frustrated and afraid after her 4-year-old son was allegedly punched by another child\u2019s mother at a Bronx park.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Feliciana Luna says her son was roughhousing with another child <a data-rich-text-hyperlink=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/bronx.news12.com\/woman-wanted-for-punching-4-year-old-boy-inside-joyce-kilmer-park\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">at Joyce Kilmer Park on Aug. 31<\/a> when the other boy\u2019s mother suddenly grabbed her son by the hair and punched him in the head.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Luna says the woman then ran off, leaving her son bleeding and crying in pain.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Luna says she reported the incident to police but claims little was done.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">&#8220;I don\u2019t know what to do. Police aren\u2019t doing anything about it and that lady is walking around like nothing happened,\u201d Luna said.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Luna says she sees the suspect, whom police released a surveillance image of, almost every day since the alleged incident first happened, just walking down the street and mocking her.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">On Saturday, Luna says she saw the woman again and called police.
