Brooklyn, N.Y. (September 13, 2026) \u2014 Brooklyn FC<\/a> Men travel to face Indy Eleven this week, making up a match from earlier in the season that was postponed due to inclement weather conditions. Kickoff is at 7 PM ET on September 15, streaming on CBS Sports Golazo Network.<\/p>\n Brooklyn played Indy in their inaugural home match back in March which ended in a 1-0 win, the first victory in men\u2019s club history. They will be hoping to repeat the result this week, coming off a 1-1 draw at home against Miami FC.<\/p>\n Indy Eleven last played\u00a0 out a 2-2 draw away at New Mexico United, in which they went down 2-0, but fought back to earn a draw. Indy currently hold on to the last playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, and want to get three points to cement their place in the postseason. They average the least amount of possession of any team in the USL Championship, and will set up in a low block looking to limit the chances that the Brooklyn attack can create.<\/p>\n Brooklyn played out an extremely tight draw with Miami FC at home but came back to earn a point after conceding first. With Indy willing to sit back, the midfield will be very important for Brooklyn to maintain possession and create quality chances for their forwards. There was a lot of strong interplay in the match against Miami, particularly with midfielders Peter Mangione, Tommy McNamara and Taimu Okiyoshi. Midfielder CJ Olney Jr will also play a big part this weekend, leading the team in chances created with 35. Brooklyn also brought in some depth this week with the signing of midfielder Anthony Fontana, who made his debut against Miami. Goalkeeper Jackson Lee put in an extremely strong performance against Miami, making 7 saves and helped keep the game level to earn Brooklyn a point.<\/p>\n The games are coming thick and fast in the next week for Brooklyn. They return home to play FC Tulsa on September 19 at 7 PM ET and then travel to Alabama for another midweek match against Birmingham Legion on September 23.
