Dakota Johnson and Jordan Masterson started dating<\/a> around 2012. In March 2014, she told ELLE<\/a> that Masterson did some home renovation for her as a Christmas present.<\/p>\n “He gave me double sinks!” she shared. “He did it himself. I think double sinks are the key to any relationship.”<\/p>\n Masterson is part of a family of actors, including The Walking Dead’s Alanna Masterson and Danny Masterson, and they are deeply involved in the Church of Scientology. In 2013, the Daily Mail<\/a> reported that Masterson was uncomfortable with Johnson’s fame associated with the Fifty Shades franchise, as well as some of the explicit scenes in the movie, and had encouraged her to get involved with Scientology. Things were a bit off-and-on for the couple, and they seemingly split in December of that year. News<\/a> confirmed they had split up again, this time for good.<\/p>\n “Dakota and Matthew have dated on-and-off for the past two years,” said a source. “They didn’t get a chance to see much of each other recently because their work schedules didn’t align. She’s been up in Vancouver shooting the Fifty Shades trilogy.”<\/p>\n Chris Martin<\/p>\n Johnson was first linked to Coldplay’s Chris Martin in October 2017. They were spotted grabbing dinner at Sushi Park in Los Angeles. According to a People<\/a> onlooker, the pair appeared “cozy, laughing and affectionate.”<\/p>\n In December, sources confirmed the relationship to Us Weekly<\/a>, saying, “Dakota and Chris are definitely dating. They’ve gotten to know each other really well and are very comfortable [with] one another. Chris sends Dakota his music to get her opinion.
