The museum has been fundraising to commission a permanent sculpture, which is Dambo&#8217;s first permanent structure in New York State. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/0d0c3c16-5d4e-4677-a272-daeb1c66989f_1732118383.file.png\" width=\"48\" height=\"48\" alt=\"Isabel Meara\" loading=\"lazy\"\/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/1789383373_861_eef8d9f1-76b7-4c47-b98e-477f119f4898_1698955822.jpg\" width=\"48\" height=\"48\" alt=\"Molly Ormsbee\" loading=\"lazy\"\/>TUPPER LAKE, N.Y. \u2014<\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"0\">The Wild Center in Tupper Lake has successfully raised enough money for a permanent Thomas Dambo Troll.  <\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"2\">Tens of thousands of visitors <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mynbc5.com\/article\/nbc5-in-depth-trolls-save-the-humans-debuts-at-the-wild-center\/71447452\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">came to the Wild Center<\/a> this summer to visit the TROLLS: Save the Humans exhibit.  <\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"3\">The art collection, by Danish artist Thomas Dambo, travels between woodland campuses. The sculptures are made from reclaimed wood. Each Troll has a name and story that promotes environmental stewardship. <\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"5\">The Wild Center has been fundraising all summer to purchase a permanent sculpture. <\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"6\">The giant Troll, named Patrick Sapling, is New York State&#8217;s first permanent Dambo installation.
