Some residents in Penfield were forced out of their homes overnight Monday due to two large sinkholes, which formed after a water main break in the area.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says they told residents in the Forrest Hill condominium complex on Penn Lane they needed to leave. Code enforcement says the condominium is uninhabitable due to the damage to the road and how close the water main break was to the complex. They say property management will be coordinating repairs.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Red Cross is helping find shelter for those who have been forced to leave.<\/p>\n
