(PIX11) &#8212; A 17-year-old student was stabbed in the buttocks while registering at a Bronx high school on Monday, officials said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The teen was attacked while he and his mother were registering for classes at William Taft High School on East 172nd Street in Claremont at around 9:30 a.m., according to the NYPD and the School Safety Union.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Police said the 17-year-old was hit in the face and then stabbed in the buttocks in front of the doors to the school. The victim was approached by three people, but two of them attacked him, cops said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The teen was taken to the hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">There have been no arrests.
