Queens Night Market<\/a> will return to Flushing Meadows Corona Park this Saturday for the start of its fall season, with events planned every Saturday evening through Halloween.<\/p>\n

The popular weekly food market, which runs from 4 p.m. until midnight near the New York Hall of Science, is returning following a two-week hiatus during the US Open, which concluded at the nearby Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The upcoming fall season will conclude on Saturday, Oct. 31 with the annual Queens Night Market Halloween-themed extravaganza, including trick-or-treat events and costume competitions.\n<\/p>\n

A number of prizes will be distributed at the costume competitions, including VIP tickets to Forest Hills Stadium, a stay at Hyatt Regency, tickets to Disney on Ice, gift certificates from Kidding Around toy stores and gift cards and dinner from Nordstrom NYC at 57th Street and Broadway.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on the 2026 season so far, Queens Night Market founder John Wang forecasted that this will be the last year that the market retains its signature $5\/$6 price cap. The price cap has been in place since 2017, two years after Queens Night Market first debuted in 2015.<\/p>\n

Wang said the price cap has been particularly important in 2026 due to the ongoing cost-of-living crisis and noted that Queens Night Market had hosted several watch parties for some of the most significant sporting events of the year, including the World Cup<\/a> and the Knicks\u2019 historic NBA Championship victory. However, he said the year has been \u201ctremendously challenging\u201d due to inclement weather.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlmost every weekend seemed to have a flood watch, a severe\u00a0 thunderstorm, or a heat advisory,\u201d Wang said. \u201cWe screened the World Cup, cheered on Knicks-In-Five, but I think the bigger storyline for us is how much our mission to be NYC\u2019s most affordable community space continues to grow in relevance. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe K-shaped economy we were wary of at the beginning of the season only seems to be getting more pronounced.\u201d\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

Wang also noted that vendor applications remain open for the 2026 season, with the market continuing to onboard new stalls ahead of the fall season.\n<\/p>\n
