Fifth Third Bank<\/a> is expanding its office footprint at Rockefeller Center.<\/p>\n

The financial institution added roughly 11,000 square feet to its headquarters at Tishman Speyer<\/a>\u2019s 50 Rockefeller Plaza for a total of 32,347 square feet, which will expire with its current lease in February 2034, according to the landlord.<\/p>\n

Tishman Speyer did not immediately disclose the asking rent for the building, but the average asking rent for office space in Midtown in the second quarter of 2026 was $86.18 per square foot, according to a report from CBRE<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fifth Third Bank originally signed its lease in 2022, Tishman Speyer said.<\/p>\n

Tishman Speyer\u2019s Blythe Kinsler represented the landlord in-house, while a CBRE team of Joe Cabrera, Kevin Torch and Michael Ciotta negotiated on behalf of the tenant.<\/p>\n

CBRE did not immediately respond to a request for comment.<\/p>\n

Tenants in the 16-story Midtown building include investment manager Republic Capital Group, which took 2,800 square feet in 2023<\/a>, and accounting firm Citrin Cooperman, which took 110,742 square feet in 2019<\/a>. It\u2019s unclear whether Citrin Cooperman\u2019s footprint has changed since the pandemic.<\/p>\n
