Fordham Road exit.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Police say a 21-year-old man was operating a BMW traveling south bound on the major Deegan when he collided the rear of a 2020 Jeep Wrangler traveling in the same direction.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">A 26-year-old woman operating the Jeep Wrangler was ejected from the car from the impact.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The woman suffered severe trauma to her head and body. She was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The 21-year-old operator of the BMW was taken into custody.
