NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) \u2014 The hills of New York City will come to life with the revival of a beloved musical.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Sound of Music\u201d is set to return to the stage at the Vivian Beaumont Theater in Lincoln Center after 30 years. Although the curtains won\u2019t rise on the show until March 2027, discounted tickets for $16 will go on sale on Thursday at 11 a.m.<\/p>\n

The limited number of tickets for preview performances will be available in person only for the first 300 people at the theater\u2019s box office. Ticket sales will be limited to two per person.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the bakery I\u2019m donut ? will give away \u201cDOUGH-Re-Mi\u201d donuts to the first 100 people who buy tickets on Thursday.<\/p>\n

If you can\u2019t make it to the box office, tickets to the show will go on sale to the public on the Lincoln Center website on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Like the acclaimed film starring Julie Andrews, the play will feature the unforgettable songs \u201cDo-Re-Mi,\u201d \u201cMy Favorite Things,\u201d \u201cEdelweiss,\u201d and more. <\/p>\n
