On Tuesday night, the New York Yankees<\/a> and Minnesota Twins<\/a> will play the second game of their series at Target Field.<\/p>\n

The Yankees will be looking to build off an 8-3 win on Monday.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, the Yankees demoted Jasson Dom\u00ednguez<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Yankees wrote (via X) on September 10:<\/a> \u201cFollowing tonight\u2019s game, the Yankees optioned OF Jasson Dom\u00ednguez to Triple-A Scranton\/Wilkes-Barre.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dom\u00ednguez (who is 23) has already spent part of four seasons at the MLB<\/a> level.<\/p>\n

Despite being a notable prospect, he has had mixed results.<\/p>\n

Before getting sent down, Dom\u00ednguez had been batting .225 with 47 hits, six home runs, 14 RBIs, 22 runs and eight stolen bases in 57 games this year.<\/p>\n
