MGK \u2014 whose real name is Colson Baker \u2014 and Johnson, both 36, were spotted at Swift\u2019s Tribeca apartment<\/a> Friday night before heading to Estela for dinner.<\/p>\n

While the \u201cLove Story\u201d pop superstar wasn\u2019t home at the time according to TMZ, we\u2019re told there was plenty of chemistry between her two pals.<\/p>\n

\u201cColson had a really nice time with Dakota. He thinks she\u2019s really cool and obviously he\u2019s attracted to her,\u201d the source said. \u201cThey hit it off and there was definitely chemistry.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s new and they\u2019re just getting to know each other, but there was definitely something there, and he would like to see her again.\u201d<\/p>\n

The insider added that the rapper was \u201creally into\u201d the actress and the two \u201cwere comfortable together.\u201d<\/p>\n

The two have been snapped around NYC over the weekend, with Johnson\u00a0attending the Kering Foundation Caring for Women Dinner<\/a>\u00a0on Thursday alongside Salma Hayek and Pamela Anderson.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, MGK was seen leaving the Greenwich Hotel on Friday morning and, on Saturday, he was photographed at the US Open.<\/p>\n

However, \u201cThe Dirt\u201d actor isn\u2019t getting ahead of himself when it comes to his budding connection with Johnson.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s not putting a label on anything or getting ahead of himself,\u201d our source says. \u201cHe likes her, they had fun and he\u2019d like to hang out with her again. That\u2019s really where it is right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reps for Johnson, MGK and Swift did not return Page Six\u2019s requests for comment.<\/p>\n

DeuxMoi was first to report that Johnson and Kelly spent time at Swift\u2019s Tribeca apartment, claiming Johnson arrived first and MGK followed about 30 minutes later. The outlet reported that the pair spent several hours inside before later heading to Johnson\u2019s hotel.<\/p>\n

TMZ subsequently published photos of the pair during their night out and reported that Swift was not at the apartment at the time.<\/p>\n

The outing comes after Johnson\u2019s split from singer Role Model<\/a>, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury.<\/p>\n

News broke in August that the pair had called it quits \u201ca while ago\u201d after first sparking romance rumors in December 2025. Johnson and Pillsbury were last photographed together during a Los Angeles outing in April.<\/p>\n

Prior to dating Pillsbury, the \u201cMaterialists\u201d actress was in a nearly eight-year relationship with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin<\/a>.<\/p>\n
