The <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/ll-cool-j\/\" id=\"auto-tag_ll-cool-j\" data-tag=\"ll-cool-j\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">LL Cool J<\/a>-led series will welcome NCIS\u2019er <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/brian-dietzen\/\" id=\"auto-tag_brian-dietzen\" data-tag=\"brian-dietzen\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Brian Dietzen<\/a>, reprising the role of Jimmy Palmer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tDietzen, who has been with NCIS since the procedural\u2019s first season, has previously played the character in NCIS: New Orleans and NCIS: Hawai\u2019i.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tDuring a recent chat with LL Cool J, showrunner Byron Balasco teased the possibility of crossovers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cThere might be. I\u2019ll put it to you like this: I welcome crossovers. I think crossovers are great, and they\u2019re fun,\u201d said the rapper and actor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAdded Balasco, \u201cWe\u2019ll have to see what happens. I mean, we\u2019re all in the universe, so you can kind of expect anything like that to happen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tIn the pilot, after years of special assignments and covert ops, Special Agent Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) returns to his hometown of New York City for a brand-new mission. When Sam\u2019s friend and Navy reservist Jack Halloway is found dead, he requests permission from Assistant Special Agent-In-Charge Robyn Wells (Jennifer Beals) to investigate his friend\u2019s death. As the team investigates Jack\u2019s death, they work together to gather key information that can help find the culprits.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tIn the official trailer released yesterday, Robyn introduces Sam and Nick (Scott Caan), who will work closely with the rest of the team: clean-cut Wyatt Sellers (Shane Harper), bright-eyed Addy Ross (Jacqueline Byers), and hacker-turned-computer guy Sean Sullivan (Devin Druid).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"NCIS: New York will premiere on October 6 with a bang!
