I know there must be some such. I have fond childhood memories of walking a quarter mile to catch a school bus that would take me several miles to the three room rural school in which I began my formal education, and of Mrs. Clark, the bus monitor, calling out, \u201cSit down; sit down!\u201d In any event, as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/brooklyneagle.com\/415886\/2026-bus-festival-brings-vintage-buses-to-brooklyn-bridge-park-saturday\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Eagle reports<\/a>, there will be a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/brooklynbridgepark.org\/event\/bus-festival\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bus Festival<\/a>\u00a0this Saturday, September 19 from 10 am until 3:30 pm at the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/brooklynbridgepark.org\/places-to-see\/emily-warren-roebling-plaza\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Emily Warren Roebling Plaza<\/a> of Brooklyn Bridge Park, presented by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/brooklynbridgepark.org\/event\/bus-festival\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">New York City Transit Museum<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mta.info\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">MTA<\/a>. At this event you can \u201cenjoy activities for all ages, meet the bus operators and crew who keep the city moving, and snap pictures of the old-time vehicles\u201d that you can also \u201cclimb aboard and explore.\u201d The event is free.
