Ahead of the Season 30 premiere, the singer kicked off her shoes and joined fellow coaches <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/queen-latifah\/\" id=\"auto-tag_queen-latifah\" data-tag=\"queen-latifah\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Queen Latifah<\/a>, country star <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/riley-green\/\" id=\"auto-tag_riley-green\" data-tag=\"riley-green\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Riley Green<\/a>, and returning champ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/adam-levine\/\" id=\"auto-tag_adam-levine\" data-tag=\"adam-levine\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Adam Levine<\/a> for a performance of the Band\u2019s 1968 single \u201cThe Weight.\u201d While Clarkson moved around the stage barefoot and traded lyrics with Latifah, Levine held it down behind the drum kit while Green strummed along on guitar.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tSeason 30 marks Latifah and Green\u2019s first time in the coaches\u2019 chairs, while Levine is back for his 19th season on the series. \u201cIt\u2019s just gotten so different, in a good way, and efficient, and kind of mellow,\u201d Levine told <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbc.com\/nbc-insider\/adam-levine-returns-the-voice-season-30-coach\" target=\"_blank\">NBC<\/a> last year. \u201cAs boring as that may sound, it\u2019s actually really wonderful. And I\u2019m so proud.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tEarlier this week, The Voice executive producer Audrey Morrissey told <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/1288678\/the-voice-season-30-fall-preview-interview-exclusive\/\" target=\"_blank\">TV Insider<\/a> the live show portion of the show will be returning in full force this season. \u201cWe\u2019re bringing back live shows,\u201d she said. \u201cWe\u2019re going to have six weeks of live shows.\u201d There were no live shows during Season 29, and previous seasons that did feature the segment were limited to just a few days, much shorter than a six-week span.<\/p>\n<p>\t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tNow, fans can have their say and see immediate results. \u201cThe difference here, though, is we\u2019re not doing an overnight vote,\u201d Morrissey said. \u201cIt\u2019s real-time voting. So, everybody performs, and we find out that night who\u2019s moving on.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe Voice Season 30 premieres at 8 p.m. EST on Monday, Sept. 21. The first week will include the two-hour season premiere, plus two hour-long episodes.
