A yellow school bus with no children aboard went out of control and slammed into an apartment building in Brooklyn Thursday morning, cops and sources said.<\/p>\n
The vehicle first struck a tree and then careened into a service road before ramming into the side of the building on Eastern Parkway near Albany Avenue in Crown Heights around 7:20 a.m., according to police and law enforcement sources.<\/p>\n
The bus screeched and sent a puff of smoke into the air on impact, dramatic video shows.\u00a0Video also showed masonry from the structure falling on to the bus.<\/p>\n

The 65-year-old man behind the wheel was unscathed, and refused medical attention on the scene, authorities said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It was unclear where the driver was headed when he crashed.<\/p>\n

The unidentified driver was initially hauled off in cuffs, but cops confirmed several hours later that he would not be charged.\u00a0<\/p>\n
