\n\tNew York Knicks star and longtime Law & Order: SVU fan Jalen Brunson<\/a> will guest star on the upcoming 28th season of the venerable NBC<\/a> crime drama. <\/p>\n

\n\tBrunson will appear in Season 28\u2019s fifth episode, scheduled to air at 9 p.m. November 5. His role is being kept under wraps.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe casting reunites Brunson with SVU star, Knicks superfan and recent Emmys host Mariska Hargitay<\/a>. The Knicks point guard appeared in the show\u2019s pretaped opening musical number with Hargitay, along with a slew of dancers and extras.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s just a lot of pressure. Have you ever felt like you had millions of eyes on you and it all comes down to one night?\u201d Hargitay asked Brunson in the skit as she steamed her dress and he was steaming his jersey.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSeriously?\u201d he asked. \u201cHey, Jalen, it\u2019s just me. I don\u2019t have anyone to step it in for me,\u201d Hargitay replied, referring to the Knicks\u2019 iconic game-winning tip-in by OG Anunoby in Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs.<\/p>\n

\n\tBrunson also is set to host the Season 52 premiere of Saturday Night Live on September 26 with musical guest Katseye. And of course, he\u2019ll back on NBC and Peacock when the World Champion Knicks open their season on Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. ET from Madison Square Garden against LeBron James and the Philadelphia 76ers.<\/p>\n

\n\tLaw & Order: SVU is the longest-running primetime drama series in TV history and chronicles the lives of the Special Victims Unit of the New York City Police Department, an elite squad of detectives who investigate crimes of sexual assault, child abuse and domestic violence.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn addition to Hargitay, Ice T, Peter Scanavino, Kelli Giddish, Kevin Kane, Aim\u00e9 Donna Kelly and Corey Cott also star.<\/p>\n

\n\tDick Wolf is creator and executive producer. Michelle Fazekas, Mariska Hargitay, Kenneth Brown, Rebeccca McGill, Anastasia Puglisi and Peter Jankowski executive produce.<\/p>\n
