When she attempted to walk away, he grabbed her from behind and tried to sexually assault her.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The man ran away after the attack. According to investigators, he is around 6 feet, 2 inches tall and was last seen wearing a hat and a T-shirt.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The NYPD says the woman suffered minor injuries but turned down medical attention.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">One parkgoer told News 12 that she regularly visits a couple of spots near the scene of the crime. She says the incident forced her to rethink her safety.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">No arrests have been made as of Thursday evening.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Police say the NYPD&#8217;s Special Victims Unit is investigating an attempted rape inside Prospect Park.
