RACINE \u2014 Racine Theatre Guild\u2019s Signature Spotlight Concert Series<\/a> will celebrate its 10th season this year, beginning with \u201cQueens & Kings of Soul\u201d on Saturday, Oct. 3, at the theater\u2019s Northwestern Avenue venue, according to an announcement from the Guild.<\/p>\n

The concert is scheduled for two performances, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., at Racine Theatre Guild, 2519 Northwestern Ave. The show is described as a musical revue highlighting influential soul and R&B artists and their impact on later generations of performers.<\/p>\n

Songs listed for the concert include \u201cChain of Fools,\u201d \u201cBe Happy,\u201d and \u201cPut Your Records On,\u201d according to the announcement.<\/p>\n

\u201cQueens & Kings of Soul\u201d is directed by Monica Fegans, and the announced soloists are Riley Jaymes, Vanetta Powell, Cedrina Washington, Kiana Perry, Diana Barber, and Nicole Calix.<\/p>\n

The Signature Spotlight series features musicians and singers from throughout the Racine area and is designed around rotating themes and styles, the theater said.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the first three shows in the series are listed at:<\/p>\n

$20 adults<\/p>\n

$18 seniors (62 and older)<\/p>\n

$15 students (21 and younger)<\/p>\n

The theater also said \u201cflex passes\u201d are available for audiences who want to attend multiple concerts.<\/p>\n

Tickets can be purchased by calling 262-633-4218, visiting racinetheatre.org<\/a>, or stopping by the box office weekdays from noon to 6 p.m. and 90 minutes before each performance, according to the announcement.<\/p>\n
