Interpol<\/a> and Queens Of The Stone Age<\/a> have announced a huge joint show in Mexico City. Find all the details below.<\/p>\n

The two bands will perform at the Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes stadium on March 6, 2027. \u201cMEXICO \ud83c\uddf2\ud83c\uddfd We can\u2019t wait to see you with @interpol<\/a>,\u201d wrote QOTSA on social media.<\/p>\n

Interpol\u2019s upcoming gig with Josh Homme<\/a> and co. forms part of a newly confirmed three-show stint in Mexico. They\u2019ll also take to the stage at Arena Guadalajara on March 2, and Arena Monterrey on March 9. The Black Angels<\/a> will support on all dates.<\/p>\n

Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time next Friday (September 25) \u2013 you\u2019ll be able to buy yours here<\/a>. Alternatively, fans can access an artist pre-sale at the same time on Thursday (September 24).<\/p>\n

In 2024, Interpol headed to Mexico City to play the biggest show of their career<\/a> before a crowd of over 150,000 people at the Z\u00f3calo square. Queens appeared at Mexico City\u2019s Corona Capital festival the following year.<\/p>\n

Interpol released their eighth and latest studio album, \u2018This Mirror Weighs A Ton\u2019<\/a>, last month. NME gave the project a glowing, four-and-a-half-star review<\/a>, calling it the NYC band\u2019s \u201cmost human and personal record to date, one that accepts constant change\u201d.<\/p>\n

Queens Of The Stone Age, meanwhile, are gearing up to drop new LP \u2018Perfecth\u2019<\/a> on October 30. They\u2019ve already previewed the forthcoming collection with the singles \u2018Insignificant Other\u2019<\/a> and \u2018Easy Street\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In November, Interpol will kick off their\u00a0co-headline tour<\/a>\u00a0with\u00a0Bloc Party<\/a>, playing across the UK and Europe. The trek features two nights at the new British Airways ARC venue<\/a> in London. Find any remaining tickets here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Speaking to NME this summer<\/a>, Interpol frontman Paul Banks explained why he \u201cfelt like it was really important for [\u2018This Mirror Weighs A Ton\u2019<\/a>] to be a great record\u201d after having two children since the last album, \u2018The Other Side of Make-Believe\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was in a headspace either about how we felt about the rest of the record or post-parenthood, but I took it really seriously and wanted to make sure I came away really proud of the work,\u201d Banks told NME.\u00a0\u201cEvery song is different, but I guess there\u2019s a spirit of striving for elation and a striving for enlightenment and clarity. There\u2019s a lot of taking stock and honest assessments, hence the title. It\u2019s about striving and reflection.\u201d<\/p>\n
