The New York Giants got a mixed bag of news with respect to their opponents on Monday Night Football.<\/p>\n
Future Hall Of Fame defensive tackle Aaron Donald told reporters on Friday<\/a> that he plans to play Monday night. At the same time, it was reported that receivers Puka Nacua and Jordan Whittington didn\u2019t practice<\/a> on Friday. That comes as a bit of good news for the Giants.<\/p>\n There has been some question as to how much Donald will be able to contribute in his first game back after two years of retirement. It\u2019s a valid question, however the Giants should prepare for Donald at his best.<\/p>\n Donald has always been an athletic freak as well as incredibly skilled. While he declined in the years before retiring, his decline was from \u201cthe best to ever do it\u201d to merely \u201cthe best doing it right now.\u201d<\/p>\n On the flip side, Nacua and Whittington popping up on the injury report is a potential boon for the Giants.<\/p>\n Nacua is one of the best receivers in the NFL, while Whittington is a very capable returner.<\/p>\n Nacua being limited, or potentially out, would be a boon with starting CB Deonte dealing with calf tightness and Paulson Adebo being placed on injured reserve.<\/p>\n The Giants should prepare as though all the Rams\u2019 players will be available and at full strength.
