\u201cBut at the same time, I feel blessed that she\u2019s somewhere peaceful in God\u2019s hand, and she not feeling no pain,\u201d Alvarez, 65 said, as a choir sang during the mass.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cEven though she was taken too early from us, life is gonna move on, but we\u2019re gonna move on in her name, Lovay.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
And he assured that his great-granddaughter would get through it.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s gonna be okay, because we gonna keep her strong,\u201d Alvarez said. <\/p>\n
Some mourners donned a green T-shirt with a photo of Williams on it, reading \u201cForever 27.\u201d <\/p>\n
Giana Brown called her an \u201camazing person\u201d and one of her best friends in middle school.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe always put people before her, like, always putting a smile on somebody\u2019s face,\u201d the friend recalled. \u201cIf you know how her spirit is definitely, like, she has a pure spirit as a person.\u201d<\/p>\n
She was also clad in green. \u201cOf course, I had to wear green as one of her favorites,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
At the conclusion of mass, four doves were released outside the church to cheers from the crowd. People cheered \u201cwe love you\u201d and someone shouted \u201cLovay is gone\u201d as her body was lifted into the carriage and whisked away.<\/p>\n
