BROOKLYN, NY \u2014 A four-alarm fire caused a partial roof collapse at a restaurant and injured six firefighters in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn on Saturday evening, an official said. <\/p>\n
The fire at Juliette Restaurant at 135 North 5th St. by Belford Avenue was sending thick smoke into the air, Council Member Lincoln Restler of the 33rd District said in a post on X.<\/p>\n
\n Subscribe<\/a>\n<\/p>\n Juliette was one of three restaurants at the site, CBS News reported<\/a>, quoting fire officials. The fire extended through the space between the ceiling and the roof from one restaurant into the two adjoining restaurants.<\/p>\n It was reported about 5:30 p.m. and was under control about 8:30 p.m., the report said. <\/p>\n Six firefighters suffered minor injuries and were taken to local hospitals for treatment, the CBS report said.
